Paying by bKash, and what happens next
From sending the money to the plan switching on — and what to do if approval does not arrive.
There are two ways to pay. Most shops use the first one.
Sending it yourself by bKash or Nagad
- Open the billing screen in your workspace. The number to send to and the amount for your plan are both on it.
- Send the money to that number from your own bKash or Nagad.
- Come back and enter two things: the transaction ID and the number you sent it from.
- Submit.
Do not skip the second field. Your payment is matched against the bKash statement by that number — without it, matching takes longer.
What happens next
A person opens the bKash statement and finds your transaction ID on it. Once it matches, it is approved — usually within a few hours — and your plan switches on the moment it is.
A text message goes to the number the money came from, so there is no need to sit and watch the screen. When the message arrives, it is done.
Between submitting and approval the payment shows on the billing screen as pending. That means your money is not lost; it is being checked.
Paying online instead
There is also a pay-online button on the billing screen. It takes card or mobile banking directly, and nothing has to be matched by hand.
Occasionally the online route does not answer. If that happens, do not worry about it — send the money to the number above instead, and it gets approved the same way.
Automatic renewal
You can leave renewal to happen by itself so there is nothing to remember each month. With it off, you get a reminder before the plan runs out.
If the plan does lapse
Your data does not go anywhere. Sales, customers, stock, the due khata — all of it stays exactly as it was. Paying puts everything back where you left it.
You can also export all of your own data at any time, including after a lapse. There is a separate guide on how.
You paid and nothing happened
First check the billing screen and see whether the payment is sitting there as pending. If it is, wait.
If a day has gone by, get in touch with the transaction ID in front of you. That one number is enough to find your payment, so the conversation takes two minutes.
This screen works the same way in every application, so this guide is written once for all of them.
